With its 4,200 km, the Niger is the third longer river of Africa after the Nile and Congo. It takes its source in Guinea, crosses then Mali, Niger, a small portion of Benign, before flowing in the Atlantic in Nigeria. Its basin is shared by several ethnic groups, but the "Masters of the river" as they are called, are Bozos; fishermen who pass most of the day on their dugout.
